You may have found that basic web pages do not do all that you need. For example you may want pop-up information boxes to explain particular points to navigate using a drop down menu. These web page enhancements require the use of a simple programming language called Javascript.
In this workshop you will be introduced to the concepts of Javascript. You will not be required to write scripts from scratch but will have the opportunity to adapt a variety of existing scripts to your needs.
To undertake this workshop you should be familiar with writing web pages and comfortable with modifying pages at the HTML code level.
