An introduction to e-learning

This is the introductory page to the staff development module about e-learning.

In this module some staff will act as students and others as tutors. To be a student no previous experience of on-line learning is needed.

You can take look at general information about the module by using the links on the left or go straight to information about an interaction by using the numbered links above.

Much of the interaction between course members will be via the College Conference Server which can be accessed from the link above. Note that conference server links open in a new window so that you can easily get back to these web pages by closing the window.

As we get feedback from prospective participants a number of similar questions are being asked. These are summarised on the "Frequently Asked Questions" pages which can be accessed from the link on the top right of this page.
