Assessment Moderation
This assessment has been produced by Rowland Gallop and moderated by Sue Barnes
With reference to the work you have done in this module evaluate four possible ways of publishing material on the web and decide on the most effective combination of publishing techniques for a chosen purpose and audience.
Ther FOUR different ways of publishing on the web you must consider are:
- a web site;
- a blog;
- a social networking site such as Facebook;
- any other web publishing application of your choice;
You must produce a 1500 -2000 word report which should be web based i.e written as web pages in a form that can be accessed in a web browser.
This might follow this example and should also take full note of the assignment criteria.
Your work must be viewable on the World Wide Web, so you will need to:
- put your web pages onto removable media e.g. a CD;
- make appropriate links to web web publishing applications where you have uploaded material to support your assignment e.g your module blog or your web site;
- make appropriate links to reference material you have used in putting together your arguements;
You should ensure that all of your coding in XHTML and CSS conforms to an appropriate standard as defined in the W3C standards. You must make sure that your web pages are appropriately designed to achieve the stated goals and that the design can be justified in terms of the user requirements.
