It is often the case that when working in your group you have an interesting and informative discussion and reach some useful conclusions. By writing a post on your own blog or by responding to my post on the blog your group can store those conclusions for others to read and comment on. They also provide a record of the work that took place in the session. This record provides a useful resource for you to look back at later in the module.
